JLo to sue over sex club claims

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly planning to take legal action over tabloid reports that her boyfriend Casper Smart was “caught in a gay sex club” and an exotic massage parlour.

The couple – who have been dating since late last year – is threatening to sue American publications Star magazine and In Touch for publishing the “false” and “defamatory” reports.

Their attorneys Shawn Holley and Howard Weitzman have teamed up and allegedly sent letters to the two publications, warning them that their stories are "false, malicious and defamatory" and will cause "immense damage" to the couple's careers and reputations.

The reports include photographs of back-up dancer Smart outside a XXX peep show in New York City in July, which Star claims is a “well-known cruising spot for gay men looking for instant hook-ups.”

Meanwhile, In Touch claims that Smart was “caught” with an “exotic masseuse” at Hell’s Kitchen the day before he helped to host American Idol judge Lopez’s 43rd birthday in late July.

In their letters, the lawyers have each demanded the magazines print a full retraction of their articles, warning Smart and Lopez will "immediately file a lawsuit" if the magazines fail to do so, according to website TMZ.com.
